ProSource Leadership provides assessments to enhance self-awareness and identify avenues for growth.
ProSource Leadership uses a variety of assessments. Client needs and requirements determine which assessments are used.
An astonishing 46% of new hires fail in their first 18 months of employment according to recent studies. Clearly, the traditional approach of hiring based solely on technical skills, resumes and interviews is very costly to companies and employees. There is a better way and we use it!
For pre-hire screening, we use Harrison Assessments’ behavioral questionnaire and reports. Applicants complete the online questionnaire, and in less than 25 minutes of applicants’ time, the SmartQuestionnaire™ evaluates suitability, identifies complementary and counter-productive traits, and shows how to manage, develop and retain candidates. It’s important to note that the questionnaire results are calculated based on the job analysis for the specific job. It automatically selects from 175 factors to measure only job specific behavioral requirements. We provide employers and recruiting firms with options regarding our level of involvement and the types of reports they receive. We also provide reports for employers desiring to evaluate employee suitability for advancement. It doesn’t matter if you are hiring one or many, or want to evaluate personnel for promotions, we can help!

We use the Harrison Career Test to measure 175 traits including interests, personality factors, task preferences, work values, work environment preferences and interpersonal preferences. After completing an online questionnaire, your clients receive access to an interactive, online system that enables them to explore more than 650 careers. Within their personalized web application, careers are ranked according to their likes and dislikes and can be sorted according to existing or proposed education levels. Clients can search for enjoyment levels related to specific careers, explore what they would like or dislike about specific careers, and run reports related to their greatest strengths or likely career development issues. If client online access is not desired, your staff or ProSource Leadership can download and provide the reports to your clients.
We also use Harrison Assessments for Team Building, Leadership Development and Coaching.
California Psychological Inventory (CPI 260®)
The CPI 260® is a powerful personality assessment that provides a distinctive view of people by using a sophisticated technique to extract detailed insights into their personalities. In detailed reports, it summarizes and explains how other people would see that person, and how others would judge their leadership style.
The CPI 260® is particularly valuable for people at senior levels because it can highlight contrasts between perceptions of themselves, and the views of others around them. Validated against a group of high-performing senior managers, the CPI 260® gets at what leaders’ peers are likely to think about their leadership style, and how individuals rate against specific competencies known to predict leadership success.
ProSource Leadership uses the CPI 260® in its leadership development and coaching programs. Clients are provided their personalized Coaching Report for Leaders and Client Feedback Report. In addition, clients are provided a variety of personalized metrics designed and used by Dr. Lantgen over the past 14 years.
Emotional Intelligence Assessments The EQ-i 2.0™ (Emotional Quotient) instrument measures the five realms and fifteen competencies that comprise emotional intelligence. This powerful instrument helps to identify strengths and areas of improvement important for life, work and social connection. ProSource Leadership uses the EQ-i 2.0™ for leadership development, coaching and personal growth. The EQ-360™ instrument measures the five realms and fifteen competencies of emotional intelligence from a multi-rater perspective. It helps to confirm or challenge one’s self-perceived strengths and areas of difficulties. The EQ-360™ uses the results from a large number of raters to give a three dimensional perspective aimed at optimizing performance.
ProSource Leadership uses the EQ-360™ for leadership development and coaching.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) Step II
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) is based on the work of C.G. Jung’s theory that different psychological types perceive the world and make decisions in different ways. Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers elaborated on the theory to create a four letter personality designation.
ProSource Leadership uses the MBTI® Step II to help individuals better understand themselves and others. Clients are provided and debriefed on the MBTI® Step II Interpretive Report. The report highlights individual behaviors and provides suggestions for enhancing communication, managing change, making decisions and managing conflict.
